SWIMMING FOR CHILDREN

Your children can attend group swimming lessons, where they will develop and strengthen their muscles, learn to swim with complete independence and self-confidence, practising a sport that works the entire body.

Swimming is one of the best activities for children. Not only is it very useful, it also helps to expand their lung capacity, encourages oxygenation and stimulates children’s psychomotor development. On top of that, it improves coordination, strengthens muscles and increases their ability to move If all that wasn’t enough, it’s also an excellent exercise when it comes to relaxing children; helping them to fall asleep easier and rest more.And the truth is that the younger they are, the faster they’ll learn how to swim.

This is because young children still have the swimming and apnea reflex – an involuntary response from when they were held in the amniotic fluid inside their mother’s womb – which will allow them to manage more easily in the water.Another huge advantage of teaching them whilst they are young is that they will show less resistance to learning to swim, as fears haven’t yet set in. Therefore, the sooner you start classes, the better.
